Custom Cabinetry for A+D Professionals

At PCD Studios, we carry CARB-compliant custom cabinetry lines that are manufactured outside the state of California. This allows them to apply an oil-based conversion varnish finish that protects the integrity of each piece so they’re equipped to withstand the wear of life.

We proudly work alongside builders, architects, and other interior design and home renovation experts to provide unrivaled quality cabinetry for your projects. Our flagship 10,000-square-foot showroom is located in Sacramento and includes several full kitchen displays and an array of samples. We also have a showroom in Manhattan, NY, and Miami, FL. We’re available for both virtual and in-person appointments where we can discuss your upcoming projects and how we can best support them.

01. Initial Design Meeting

The first step is a call or a visit to our showroom where you’ll chat with our design team about your project and vision. You’ll also learn about our process and cabinetry lines.
02. Project Kick-Off

We will put together a custom proposal and contract specifically for your project. It will include scope, timeline, and fees.
03. Schematic Design Support

Using your project details as our starting point, we create three schematic options. Whether you come to us with existing layout ideas or a blank slate, we develop and refine layouts based on your direction and the needs of your clients. We finalize each design in accordance with your feedback.
04. Material Palette

Once you’ve approved a final layout, we follow your design vision to select material options for fixtures and finishings. We present various options and you approve the final selection.
05. Final Specifications

To bring it all together, we create photorealistic renderings that combine your Schematic Design with the selected Material Palette. Once you sign off, we finalize drawings and a specification book for your project’s contractor.
06. Cabinetry, Fixtures, & Finishings Order

Custom cabinetry orders take 14-16 weeks from the time of order. We also recommend that your clients purchase appliances, fixtures, and finishings at this time. We’re here to help if you need it.
07. Demo and Installation

We provide a detailed installation plan and specification book for your project’s contractor based on the scope. Additionally, we coordinate with the contractor and will do site visits to ensure the vision for your project comes to life.
08. Job Completion

Your client’s move-in day has arrived! We're here to answer questions that come up after they move in. We also handle any warranty issues related to custom cabinetry. Our cabinetry is all limited lifetime warranty.
