Upstate Traditional Cottage
This kitchen remodel project focuses on PCD designer Jordan Ross’ tiny, old 1930s house, aiming to blend antique furniture and art with a practical and functional kitchen design. The kitchen showcases a mix of high-end pieces, including 1930s pendants from Paris.
One unique aspect of the remodel is the conversion of a once awkward mudroom into a walk-in pantry. The space now features open shelving that extends through the windows, creating a clever storage solution and adding an interesting visual element.

We often include antique furniture and art into our kitchen designs, and this project perfectly blends these elements. The 1930s pendants from Paris serve as vintage focal points while the oven features a simple range design, integrating modern functionality with classic aesthetics. Finally, we completed the look with carefully selected tiling throughout.

We transformed the former non-functional pantry into a stylish and practical bar area. The addition of a countertop with storage for glasses provides a space for crafting beverages. To upgrade the aesthetic we added brass mesh doors.

To maximize functionality and transform an awkward space, we repurposed the former mudroom into a walk-in pantry. The open shelving seamlessly extends through the windows, providing a storage solution and a visually striking feature.
