Timeless American Fusion: The Modern Walnut Kitchen
For this kitchen project, we collaborated closely with an architecture team who granted us significant creative freedom while remaining actively involved in the process. Together we achieved a seamless blend of timeless American aesthetics and modern design elements.
The kitchen is the focal point of this home, with an expansive layout featuring a central island and meticulously designed hand-drawn metal hood over an expansive range. Plumbing is cleverly concealed behind a false wall, and the dishwasher area uses mirrored backing for an open feel while remaining practical. Here we took a different approach to two-tone cabinetry, with the cabinetry frame painted and the doors in white oak. This distinctive approach adds sophistication to the space, redefining the concept of two-tone cabinetry.
Our primary goal was to enhance the space with ample light and ambiance. We layered various lighting sources to achieve this, viewing lighting as an essential hardware component seamlessly integrated into the design.

This kitchen boasts a spacious layout, featuring a generously sized central island with a meticulously hand-drawn metal hood detail. We've concealed the plumbing behind a false wall to maintain the clean aesthetics.
In the dining room, we created a built-in bar with a pass-through to the kitchen. On the kitchen side, as seen here, there are two wine units and a wine bar area for added convenience. Our unique use of art lights is a standout feature.
The homeowners have a morning coffee ritual. We created an elevated space for their coffee accouterments behind elegant pocket doors complete with custom gold mesh.
In this cabinet, we created a super-functional kitchen hub, perfectly organized for cooking. The interior is packed with features like lighting, pop racks, and clever storage for pots, pans, small appliances, and more. Plus, there are tray dividers, platter storage, and serving solutions above, making it highly efficient. In addition to its functionality, we designed this interior space to be equally elegant with gold hardware, dark wood, and soft lighting.
Adjacent to the range, we custom-designed a tall drawer to neatly organize spices, oils, and cooking essentials. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and brought to life.
